• At the start of each new school year, YES launches an annual campaign to raise $1m. 

    Our aim is for every Ross Valley School District family to take part and give something. 

    The recommended annual donations is $900 per student to provide an art and music education. We hope each family will donate at a level that works for them. 

    Give one time or set up monthly donations.


    Major Donors

    YES recognizes donors who give more than $2,200 per school year.

    Major Donors are celebrated on the YES website (unless anonymous) and invited to a donor appreciation event in the Spring. 

  • Corporate Matching

    The company you work for might have a Corporate Matching program where they financially match your donation to YES. Inquire directly with your employer as each company has its own matching procedure.

  • Stock Donation

    Gifts of stock are always welcome. The benefits of giving appreciated securities can be significant. Please consult with your tax adviser to determine your tax savings. Shares can be transferred directly from your brokerage account to the YES (The Ross Valley Schools Foundation) account.

  • United Market & Good Earth Natural Foods

    Present your YES shopping cards during check out at United Markets and/or Good Earth Natural Foods and 3% of your total cost will be donated to YES.

    Shopping cards are available in the RVSD admin office as well as school offices; or email Laura Langston to receive by mail.


    Sports Basement

    Become a Basementeer and receive 10% off your purchase AND 10% gets donated to YES.

    1. Visit Sports Basemeent and become a Basementeer (a one-time $25 fee) 

    2. Select YES as your charity of choice

    3. Receive 10% off every time you make a purchase at Sports Basement

    4. 10% will be donated to YES

  • We would love YOU to host an event to raise funds for YES!

    This could be anything from a bake sale, to a children’s arts and crafts party, to a bike ride and BBQ, to a drinks reception at your home, to a quiz night in a local venue. 

    1. Come up with an idea (learn more about previous events here), date and location.

    2. Run your event by YES, and we can create a marketing image and sell tickets via our website.

    3. If you’d like to invite members of the public, we can promote the event in RVSD school newsletters and on the YES website.

    4. You plan the logistics and cover the costs. 

    These events are so valuable for not just raising much needed funds, but for building community and spreading the word about YES. Plus, they are always so much fun!

  • Do you own a restaurant or shop? Please consider partnering with YES so proceeds of your ‘Dine and Donate’ or ‘Shop and Donate’ event are donated towards our annual fundraising campaign. 

    Your event will be marketed to the entire Ross Valley School District via school newsletters highlighting the event. This is great exposure for your business and demonstrates your social responsibility and commitment to local schools.

    You will be recognized as a Business Partner if you donate more than $500.

  • We need your help! 

    YES relies on volunteers. We have a working Board of volunteers and are always looking for new members. 

    We also need adhoc help throughout the year, whether it’s helping on call nights when we phone RVSD families to tell them about YES, or staffing events, photographing artwork, or hanging up event posters around the community.  

    We also have year round opportunities such as social media support positions. Perhaps you know a high school student who is looking to get involved in a non-profit and would like to volunteer on our team? Let us know.
